French fashion house established in 1950. Christian Dior’s former apprentice Pierre was recognised as avant-garde fashion designer and one of pioneers of unisex style. The designer is accountable for more than 500 innovations, such as coloured stockings and high boots, mini pinafore dresses, floral ties, long collarless jackets, slim buttoned trousers.
