Karl Lagerfeld presented the Chanel Paris-Bombay collection in 2011. The show was opened by the designer's favorite, Stella Tennant.
Everything was imbued with the atmosphere of India and styled like a big celebration in the interiors of the maharajas. The famous pink Rajasthan, snow-white, gold and silver, strands of pearls, elements of traditional sari clothing and embroidery. The Chanel jacket from the Paris Bombay collection is decorated with buttons depicting the symbol of India, an elephant.
Fashion publications predict that India and its aesthetics are a super trend that will soon conquer everyone.
