Strikingly beautiful vintage embroidered Christian Dior haute couture dress in coral colour. In her "The Possibility of an Island" novel Michel Houellebecq depicts wealthy Parisian ladies who had moved to Biarritz to live out their days. This dress belonged to one of those who had worked in Maison Christian Dior PR department. This silk crepe garment was privately sewn and hand trimmed for her in the House's couture ateliers.
Excellent vintage condition.
